Argentine Tango

Argentine Tango is a social dance that originated in Argentina. It is very passionate and dramatic!  The dance is more fluid and improvised than the Ballroom tango. It relies on the leader to dictate the tempo and steps and is great for couples. This dance style is part of the 'Strictly Dancing' class on a Wednesday which rotates a number of dance styles every few weeks giving participants a chance to experience ballroom, latin, salsa and tango! No partner is required - although please be advised that the hold and some of the moves are closer and sometimes more intimate than ballroom tango.
